Trampoline Park Software

Trampoline parks and indoor playgrounds

Saturday, 9:50. Three birthday parties are due between 10 and noon, a school group of forty is arriving at 11, and the line at the door is mostly parents holding a phone and asking where to sign. Last week the desk spent twenty minutes on paper waivers for one party while the room sat empty.

Most trampoline park software starts with the open-jump ticket. VenueChief starts a step earlier: the paperwork and the parties. It books your courts, party rooms and classes online, collects a waiver for every child before they arrive, and puts the party, the room and the check-in on one calendar. It also has a real limit on open jump, which we explain below, because we would rather you hear it from us.

Booking plan from $279 a month, published. Two courts and six party rooms is eight bookable units and costs $391.

Waivers for children are the part we built hardest

Trampoline parks and indoor playgrounds see more minors than almost any other venue. A parent signs for three kids, a grandparent signs for a grandchild, a teacher arrives with a class list. Minor handling in VenueChief is not a karting feature we repainted. It is a rule you set once.

  • Sign before arrival. The booking confirmation carries a signing link the organizer can forward. Turn on per-participant links and every child on a party gets their own, and the link for a minor goes to a parent or guardian.
  • No account needed. A guardian signs, confirms they are an adult and the child's parent or legal guardian, and the waiver records their name and relationship. Parents who do have an account can use My Family: add each child once and later bookings are prefilled.
  • You choose how strict to be. Five levels, from no guardian step to a signature plus a guardian present at check-in. You set the age of majority, where the waiver is collected and who may override.
  • Renewal. Turn on periodic re-signing with an expiration in days. The default when it is on is 365.
  • The desk sees who owes what. At check-in each person shows signed or not signed, and the staff actions are one click each: guardian claim link, guardian is here, confirm supervision.
  • Waiver text stays with the signature. Publish a new waiver rather than editing the old one, so earlier signers keep the wording they agreed to. Your attorney decides what it says.

Age, height and adult supervision rules

A toddler zone is for small children with a grown-up. A big court may need a minimum age. In VenueChief an eligibility profile sets minimum and maximum age, height or weight, and whether an adult must supervise. Attach it to a court, a zone or a class, and the same check applies when the group checks in. You enter the numbers your manufacturer and insurer give you. We enforce what you enter and we do not set safety limits for you.

Party-led park or indoor playground?

Bring your three most-booked packages and your waiver and we will build them live.

Parties that book themselves

The birthday party is where most parks make their margin, and also where the front desk loses its Saturday. A party package in VenueChief can bundle a room for two hours, a number of guests included and a price for each extra one, a start time for each part, a deposit and the waiver the package requires. You can set peak, off-peak and member prices, and the days and dates it applies. The booking page offers only times when every part of the package fits.

Online deposits are a venue setting: a percentage the guest can pay now, the balance due at arrival. Each room type has a buffer, fifteen minutes by default, that nobody can book into, so the cleanup time is on the calendar and not in somebody's head.

Our party booking software page covers packages and deposits in more detail.

Courts, rooms and classes as bookable units

A court, a toddler zone, a party room, a fitness class: each is a resource with its own price, guest limit and availability. You price per person, per hour, per person per hour, per booking, or a base price with extra-person charges. A court has a maximum group size, so a booking for sixty cannot be made on a court that holds twenty. Mark a unit unavailable with a reason and a return date and online booking stops offering it at once.

You can hold a court, several rooms or the whole venue for a school buyout or a private event. Online booking and counter walk-ins are switched separately.

Gift cards, prepaid passes and memberships work across all of it. A pass holds minutes, a membership brings member pricing, and a gift card can sit in the same basket as a party.

The counter and the kiosk

On the Platform plan, walk-ins and the counter run through the same checkout as online bookings, and kiosks let a guest check in by booking code, email or phone number, sign, and pay. Kiosks can also use a wristband, card or PIN as the way a returning guest identifies themselves. A guardian is asked for before a minor's waiver is accepted.

What a Saturday looks like

At 9:50 the first party of ten has eight waivers signed. Two parents sign in the lobby on their phones while the desk checks in the second party. The school group's organizer sent the link to every family on Thursday, and by Friday night the list shows thirty-six of forty. The party room closed at 10:00 stays blocked until 10:15 because the buffer is on the calendar. The 11:00 group has a held court, so no one can book it online or at the counter for that hour.

What VenueChief does not do for trampoline parks

Read this part before you compare us with a trampoline-specific product.

  • No shared open-jump sessions. A court or a room is booked by one group at a time. VenueChief does not sell individual open-jump tickets against a shared headcount for a session, for example "forty jumpers in the 2:00 hour". If open jump at the door is most of your revenue, a product built around timed session tickets fits that better today. Walk-ins can be rung up at the counter on the Platform plan, but VenueChief does not count them against a session limit.
  • No grip sock add-on on the jump booking. Socks can be sold as a product at the counter or in your shop. A required sock charge that rides on every jump ticket is not something we have.
  • No timed wristbands. We do not print jump-time wristbands or track who is over time.
  • No separate court-by-court rules for a shared session. Each court is a unit with its own guest limit, and that is the whole rule.
  • No custom booking questions. The checkout has a free-text special requests box. It does not ask for the birthday child's name and age as separate fields.
  • No arcade card or game card integration.
  • Online booking lengths are 1, 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 hours.

Straight answers

Questions trampoline park owners ask

How do waivers for kids work at a trampoline park?

A parent or guardian signs for each child, no account needed. You choose how much guardian involvement each minor needs, from a signature alone to a signature plus the guardian present at check-in.

Can parents sign before they arrive?

Yes. The booking confirmation carries a signing link, and with per-participant links each child gets their own link that goes to a parent or guardian.

How do party bookings and open jump share capacity?

They do not share a headcount. A party books a room, and a court is held when you hold it. VenueChief does not count walk-in jumpers against a session limit.

Can I sell grip socks?

Yes, as a product at the counter or in your shop. There is no required sock add-on on a jump booking.

Does it work for an indoor playground or soft play center?

For parties, private blocks, classes and group visits, yes. Age and adult-supervision rules fit a toddler zone. Selling timed play-area tickets by headcount is not supported.

What does trampoline park software cost?

The Booking plan is $279 a month for up to 8 bookable units. The Platform plan starts at $579 for four units and adds $28 for each after, with the counter, kiosks and automations.

Can I move from my current system?

We import customers and future bookings, and you can run both for a while.
