An AI agent for venue owners that does the work, and asks first.

AI for venues

Most AI tools for small business owners write you a paragraph. VenueChief’s assistant does the task: it books the walk-in, moves the party, sets up next week’s league night. Then it shows you exactly what it is about to change, and waits for you to say yes.

Say it the way you would say it to your best manager.

Press Ctrl+J (Cmd+J on a Mac) on any screen. It already knows which screen and which record you have open.

  • "Book a walk-in for four on bay 3 at six."
  • "Move the Hendersons’ party to Sunday at two."
  • "Add two drivers to the 7:30 heat."
  • "Start the next sim session and give it ten more minutes."
  • "Set up the rounds for the Tuesday league."
  • "Refund the deposit on this booking." (it asks every time, and never refunds more than the booking has available)
  • "Add a redirect from our old prices page to the new one."

Every change is a card you confirm.

The assistant looks things up on its own. When it wants to change something, it shows you a card that says what will change, and nothing happens until you press Confirm. A request with several steps can be confirmed in order, one press. It acts with exactly your own role, so it can never do something you couldn’t do on the screen yourself.

Seen enough to want to see it running?

Thirty minutes on your own numbers, in a demo branded for your venue.

One policy for each venue, set by the owner.

The owner decides, for five kinds of action, whether the assistant may do it without asking, must ask every time, or may never do it:

  • Look things up
  • Changes that can be undone
  • Move money
  • Control equipment
  • Things that can’t be undone

The recommended setting lets it look things up and make undoable changes on its own, and asks every time for the other three. You can make it stricter. Equipment, staff roles and anything that can’t be undone always ask, whatever else you change.

Use Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot with your venue.

If your team already works in Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude Code, connect it to your venue on the AI assistants tab. The staff member signs in on your venue’s own page, never inside the AI tool, and picks what it may do: look things up, front desk or manager. Anything that moves money, controls equipment, can’t be undone or changes roles waits under Waiting for your approval until a person approves it. The AI tool cannot approve itself.

The built-in assistant is included in every plan. Connecting your own AI tools comes with the Developer API & Webhooks add-on ($179 a month).

Every action, on one log.

AI activity shows when, who asked, what did it, which action, the venue and the outcome, for managers, auditors and owners. It never shows what a guest typed.

It does not answer your phone or chat with your guests.

There is no AI receptionist in VenueChief. The assistant works for your staff. On the guest side, AI helps your team reply faster instead: a draft reply in the Help Desk for staff to review, with its sources, a summary of a long conversation, and a summary of a voicemail or recorded call.

Questions owners ask about AI

Does it cost extra?

No. The assistant is in every plan, including Booking at $279 a month. Connecting Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool of your own is part of the Developer API & Webhooks add-on.

Can it spend money?

Only if you let it, and only after a person confirms. Moving money asks every time by default, and the owner can set it to Never.

What stops it from making a mess?

It acts with the role of the person asking, every change waits for a confirm, and anything that can’t be undone always asks.
