Golf Simulators

Golf simulators and indoor golf

Golf simulator booking software that charges what Friday night is worth.

Your bays earn the most between 5 and 9 on weeknights and all day Saturday. The rest of the week they sit dark unless something brings people in. VenueChief books your bays online, prices them by the hour, the time of day and the membership, sells hour packs, collects waivers, and lets a paid guest in after hours with a door code.

Peak, off-peak and member pricing

Price the bay the way you actually sell it.

Most indoor golf rate cards have four or five lines: weekday daytime, weekday evening, weekends, members, and sometimes a winter rate. Most booking tools give you one hourly price and a discount code.

The rate card is a setting

Rules, not a sticky note

Each bay type has a standard price and special rates for members, peak hours, days of the week, time of day and seasons. Each rule has a priority, so “member on a Saturday evening” lands on the price you meant.

Before a guest sees it

“What will this cost?”

Test any bay, day, start time, length and party size, and see the price the checkout will charge, before tax and discounts. A bay type with no price cannot be booked online by accident.

Six pricing models

Per hour, per player, or both

Charge per hour, per session, per person, per person per hour, a base price with extra-player charges, or by length. A group of six in one bay can be a package with a per-extra-guest rate.

A bay is down

It stops selling, on its own

Mark a bay temporarily unavailable with a reason and a return date. Online booking stops offering it at once, so nobody is told at the counter that their bay is gone.

A four-line rate card for golf bays: a standard hourly price, an evening peak, weekend rates and a member rate, each with its own priority.
Hour packs and memberships

Sell the slow hours before they are slow.

A regular who plays twice a week will happily buy ten hours up front if the price is right. Members are the reason indoor golf venues get through the summer.

  • Hour packsPrepaid passes that hold bay minutes, with an optional expiry, a member price and a limit per customer. Each booking spends from the pack, and the guest sees what is left in their account.Included

24/7 and self-service golf simulators Early access

A 24/7 golf simulator needs more than a booking page.

Owners asking about unattended golf simulator businesses ask the same three questions. Here are straight answers.

How does the guest get in?

A code per booking

Each paid booking gets its own door code, sent before arrival and valid only for the booked window. It works with RemoteLock and the locks Seam supports. Two doors are included with Door Access ($49 a month on Booking, included on Platform), then $10 a door.

What if they overstay?

The code stops

The code ends with the booking. On the Platform plan, the Golf bays automation pack can show a countdown on the bay screen five minutes before the booking ends.

Who hears about problems?

Your on-call person

Door alerts go to the on-call staff member you name. With the Voice add-on, after-hours calls can ring them too.

What we will not pretend. Door access and the automation pack are early access: we set them up with you and test them on your locks and screens before a guest relies on them. And we cannot lock your simulator when a booking ends. Trackman, Foresight and Uneekor do not let outside software do that, and we would rather tell you now than after you have bought a lock.

A Friday night

What golf bay booking looks like when it works.

1

6:45 · The 7:00 group arrives

Four friends at the counter. Two signed the waiver at home; the other two open the link on their phones and sign while they wait.

2

7:00 · Bay 3 is not on sale

Its screen broke at lunch. You marked it unavailable with a reason and a date, and online booking stopped offering it the moment you did.

3

9:00 · A member books

The member rate is on the basket. Nobody keyed a discount, and nobody had to remember the rule.

4

9:55 · The countdown

On Platform, Bay 1’s screen shows five minutes left, and the next group’s code starts at 10.

Where we stop

What VenueChief does not do for golf.

If one of these is a deal breaker, tell us. Several are on the list because golf owners asked.

Not today

  • No built-in connection to launch monitors or golf simulator software; shots and scores stay in your simulator
  • No bay lockout when a booking ends
  • No lessons, clinics or golf leagues
  • Bays that share a space are booked separately and are not linked
  • Online lengths are 1, 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 hours

Possible, with testing

  • If your bay controller accepts web or network commands, an early access automation can send one at check-in or about five minutes before the end, through VenueChief Edge on your network (Platform plan). We test it on your equipment first.
Straight answers

Questions golf simulator owners ask us.

Can guests book a specific bay?

Yes. They choose the bay type, party size, bay, length, date and time, and the slot is held while they pay.

Does VenueChief control my launch monitor?

No. There is no built-in connection to any launch monitor or golf simulator software. If your bay controller accepts web or network commands, an early access automation can send one at check-in or near the end of a booking, and we test it with you first.

Can I run my golf simulator facility 24/7 without staff?

You can sell after-hours bookings and let paid guests in with door codes, with alerts going to your on-call person. Door access is early access, and you should still plan who answers the phone at 2 a.m.

How do hour packs work?

A pass holds bay minutes. Each booking spends from it at checkout, and the guest sees what is left in their account.

Does it work for batting cages and pitching tunnels?

Yes. A cage is a bookable bay with its own pricing, packs and passes. Cages that share a net are not linked to each other today.

Can I move from my current booking system?

Yes. We import your customers and future bookings, and you can run both systems side by side while you switch.

What does it cost for six bays?

$335 a month on the Booking plan: $279 for the first four bays and $28 for each bay after that.

Send us your rate card. We’ll build it on the call.

Peak hours, member rates, the winter special. Send it over and we will set it up in VenueChief while you watch, so you see your own prices before you decide anything.
